after playing my first MMiUQ gig a few weeks ago - ALONE - i've realized there are several reasons to NOT hire a band:
1. iPods are cheaper than hired guns
2. iPods don't miss notes, show up late or bail on your gig 2 days before the show
3. iPods look cool, and you can change their clothes without an argument
4. if you want to be discreet, you can put your iPod on the stage floor - no egos or lame stage presence to deal with!
5. load in and load out is a SNAP!
6. the audience...
